- Unlike other organizations, our pool of applicants is not limited by their financial resources. ACAWE pays all of the candidate’s upfront costs. Therefore we appeal to a larger audience when recruiting for your camp.
- Our senior executives have had many years of experience as Camp Directors and HR Directors. We have been in your shoes and have used International staff in our camps. Thus, we know the challenges and the issues you face in the hiring process. Our goal is to provide you with skilled and carefully screened staff.
- Candidates are not only interviewed by our staff in their home country, but also by a professional in the field in which they are looking to work in at your camp.
- We present you with candidates specifically chosen for your camp. You may choose to interview them by phone, teleconference, or in person at a time convenient to you.
- Our screening process is extremely thorough. Applicants must pass a telephone interview, a screening workshop conducted by professionals in group dynamics, and a personal interview. They must then attend a two day orientation and training program. This orientation is run by seasoned camp directors and our senior staff. This enables us to carefully assess both the applicants’ skills and character in determining their suitability to work in a U.S. camp.
- We have simplified the paperwork and payment method. You write one check to ACAWE and we handle the payment to your staff.
- Senior staff will stay in contact with you throughout the year and visit your camp during the summer.
- Our pricing is all inclusive, except for one way domestic travel to your camp from port of entry and Worker’s Compensation Insurance.
- We are available 24/7 during the summer to help insure a successful experience for you and the young people you hire.
