The U.S.. State Department has established a summer Work Travel Program that allows International students to work for an employer in the U.S. during their summer vacation.

| • Why should I hire International Staff? |
|
International students are highly motivated to spend their summer working in the U.S. International staff adds cultural diversity to your business. There are cost savings as well. By hiring through CCS you will not have to pay Medicare or Federal Unemployment tax. Our staff is available when you need them and we have applicants ready to start as soon as they begin their summer break. There is no need to advertise or spend valuable time and resources finding good employees CCS does all of that for you!

| • How much does it cost? |
|
CCS will NEVER charge a Summer Work Travel Employer a fee for placement. All we ask is that you provide a safe and healthy work environment for our hardworking International participants.

| • How many staff can I hire? |
|
There is no limit to how many employees you may hire through this program. CCS can provide you with highly qualified staff in many areas.
|
| • What do I need to provide to staff I hire? |
|
Some employers are able to provide room and board to employees. In addition you are required to provide Worker’s Compensation Insurance. Workers in this program must apply for a Social Security number and will needyour help to do so.

| • How long can they work? |
|
The length of time they can be employed depends on their school break. If their summer vacation permits, they may work for up to four months.
|
| • Are there any restrictions on whom I can hire? |
|
Applicants must be full-time students registered in a post-secondary school program at the time of their application.

| • How is their English? |
|
Our candidates are carefully screened to ensure that their level of English meets the demands of the position. English proficiency varies from individual to individual, but we only accept applicants that can read and understand English at least at an intermediate level. We will find applicants with excellent English skills if that is your need.

| • What time of year are they available? |
|
Participants in this program can only come during their summer vacation. Students from the Southern Hemisphere are eligible to work during the winter months and those from the Northern Hemisphere during the summer months.

| • Who handles their visa application? |
|
CCS walks all candidates through the visa process.
|
| • How do they get to me? |
|
CCS will help the employee make all travel arrangements to the U.S.
You are responsible for travel from the employee’s city of arrival to your company.

| • How do I determine if the applicant is right for my company? |
|
We have a very thorough screening and placement program. We strongly recommend that you contact the employee by phone prior to accepting them. You may also interview them in person if you are going to be in their home country.

| • Can I bring someone I already have in mind? |
|
Yes. CCS can help you with all required paperwork if you have a prospective employee you found on your own. They must be students registered in a post-secondary program at the time of their application.

| • What do I do if there is a problem while the employee is working for me? |
|
The CCS staff is available to you whenever you need us. We will help you resolve any problems you may experience. If there is a problem that needs our on-site participation, we will come to your facility to resolve issues with you. At CCS we work as your partner, not your order taker.
