Safety and Security

From Security Guards to Disaster Planning

In today’s world, every camp and leisure service company must take security issues very seriously. Because of the special nature of the Leisure and Recreation industry, your operation needs to allow for fun and freedom of movement without sacrificing safety and security.

You need a well trained staff, clearly defined plans and procedures to cover the range of possible circumstances and facilities and equipment that have been appropriately evaluated from the perspective of security and safety. To accomplish these goals, CCS has partnered with one of Israel’s foremost security firm that works with educational, recreational and leisure time institutions in North and South America, Israel, and Europe.

We have developed an effective way to meet the security and safety needs in the camp environment. Here is an overview of the CCS Security and Safety Program:

The Security Guard and Security Officer:
Twenty four/seven security personnel are a must for many reasons. CCS has developed an effective and streamlined system to recruit, train and place security guards and officers in summer camps at a very affordable cost. We use a multi-faceted approach to security and safety. CCS will provide you with mature and well trained personnel, knowledgeable in the needs of summer camps. CCS trained guards and officers are provided from Israel and Europe. Together with you, we will develop the job definition for each guard or security officer.

Training Seminars:
CCS runs training seminars for individual facilities or in geographic areas, for groups of facilities, to prepare assigned staff as security officers, to help camp administrations understand the issues of security and to train American guards.

Disaster Plan:
While not every event is a disaster, there are many potential incidents for which adequate preparation must be made. Do you have an appropriate Evacuation Plan? How about a plan in case of fire, medical emergency, tornado or loss of electric and water? CCS services include the preparation of these plans in coordination with the individual facility.

Security Assessment:
One of the key services in effective security and safety planning is an evaluation of the camp property. Appropriate fencing, lighting, emergency vehicles, fires suppression equipment, communications systems and emergency alarms need to be evaluated and options presented. CCS consultants have an unparalleled expertise in this area and we will work with you to insure your facility is effectively designed.

Policy Planning:
Safety awareness and risk management are an integral part of security preparedness. The prevention of accidents, the way to respond in case of an accident, tripping policies, off duty staff activities and responsible monitoring are all a part of the program evaluation presented by CCS through the services of its POSITION PURPLE consulting services.
